Song Lu is a New York based multimedia artist born in Guizhou, China. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts. Working across video and photography, she explores the boundaries of data, memory, and technology, investigating how technological architectures reshape collective memory, the physical body, gender, and identity. Her practice focuses on the entanglement, overlapping, intersection, and divergence of technology, memory, and fragile lived realities, while observing the inevitable fading of permanence.
Her work has been exhibited at UNTITLED Art Miami, PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai, and the ICP Photobook Fest, with selected screenings at Goethe Institut Beijing and the MIT AI Filmmaking Hackathon. In 2024, she was named one of the "20 Artists to Watch" in Art in America's Fall "New Talent" issue.

她的作品曾广泛展出于迈阿密UNTITLED艺术博览会、影像上海艺术博览会及纽约ICP摄影书展等，其影像作品亦入选北京歌德学院与麻省理工学院电影制作黑客松并参与放映。2024年，她入选《美国艺术》杂志秋季"新秀"专刊"20位值得关注的艺术家"。
