Scales of Code
is a AI-generated video art piece, created in collaboration with multimedia artists Song Lu and Fan Yu and of OHuo Studio. The work employs a combination of over 30 materials to generate a video centered around the theme of a "snake," using the dynamic changes of snake scales to symbolize the interplay of natural order and geometric aesthetics, and to explore innovative expressions in digital art. By selecting materials from Chinese folk arts, Western fine arts, and everyday life, and incorporating AI-generated animations to achieve a realistic texture, the work blurs the boundaries between the virtual and the real, stimulating viewers' multidimensional imagination of "snakes" and imbuing traditional art with contemporary significance and technological vitality.
